Please remember that as a pediatric dentist we will be introducing your child to dentistry and in a very child friendly way. Avoid preparing your child for their dental visit by using “scary” words such as “hurt,” “drill,” “needle,” or “shot.”
The staff will use child appropriate language for all the procedures that will be done and instruments that will be used. The most effective way to prepare your child for the visit is to say "We are going to the dentist-they will brush and count your teeth, and they have great prizes for you once you finish!"
