Special Pre-appointment tip! Please remember that as a pediatric dentist we will be introducing your child to dentistry and in a very child friendly way. Avoid preparing your child for their dental visit by using "scary" words such as "hurt," "drill," "needle," or "shot." The staff will use child appropriate language for all the procedures that will be done and instruments that will be used. The most effective way to prepare your child for the visit is to say "We are going to the dentist-they will brush and count your teeth, and they have great prizes for you once you finish!!"

Patients are seen only by appointment only at our office. Appointments can be made by phone during our office hours or you can also request an appointment directly from this website. It is our priority to find an appointment that works with your schedule. Please understand our “after school” appointments are in the highest demand and may be unavailable for a few weeks. We do have a last minute appointment list for people who would be interested in coming in same day for openings that become available in our schedule. Please let our receptionist know if you would be interested and we will add your name to that list.
We implore for prompt treatment of cavities as it is an active disease and can worsen or spread as time passes. Please be aware that there may be a need for your child to come in for an appointment during school hours. A dental appointment is an excused absence if your child attends until 1pm.
All children under 5 years of age are seen during our morning appointments. Pre-School aged children are at their best mood in the morning time and are more likely to have a positive dental experience. This guideline is per the recommendations of the American Association of Pediatric Dentists. A child’s first dental visit should be scheduled at 12 months of age to begin life with a positive dental experience.
If you realize that your scheduled appointment doesn’t work with your schedule please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. We do not accept cancellations on the answering machine. There is a $30.00 cancellation fee associated with cancellations of appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice or no shows for the appointment time.
All continuing care appointments are scheduled 6 months in advance. For your convenience you will receive a phone call two weeks before the appointment as a reminder and to give you adequate time to reschedule without a penalty. You will also receive a phone call 48 hours in advance for confirmation.
